Section 71-6-115 - Cooperation by law enforcement officials

It is the legislative intent that law enforcement officials shall cooperate with the department of human services in providing protective services under this part. Further, when the department is unable to return an adult to physical custody who voluntarily leaves such custody, law enforcement officials shall assist in returning the adult to such physical custody and shall give priority in providing such assistance.Acts 1986, ch. 630, § 17; T.C.A., § 14-25-115.
