Section 8-10-202 - Course time requirements

(a) Each constable elected under § 8-10-101 shall complete forty (40) hours of in-service course time for each twelve-month period during which the constable holds office, beginning on the date the constable is sworn into office.(b) This section does not apply to any constable with twenty (20) years of cumulative service as a constable before May 3, 2018.Amended by 2018 Tenn.
