Section 8-11-105 - Refusal to pay warrant or demand

If the trustee refuses to pay the amount of any county warrant or legal demand upon the county, when requested by the party entitled to receive the money, it is a Class C misdemeanor, on conviction of which the trustee may be removed from office, unless the trustee produces evidence showing that disbursements have exhausted the money on hand.Code 1858, § 429 (deriv.
