Section 8-12-106 - Oath of chain bearers - Plat

The county surveyor shall swear the surveyor's chain bearers to perform their duties without favor or affection, make a plat of all lands or lots surveyed for the person requiring the same, and write on the back of the plat the names of the chain bearers, and the amount of the surveyor's fees.Code 1858, § 439; Shan., § 538; Code 1932, § 790; T.C.A.
