A notary public shall also take and subscribe, before the county clerk or the clerk's deputy within the notary public's county, an oath to support the constitutions of this state and of the United States, and an oath that the notary will, without favor or partiality, honestly, faithfully, and diligently discharge the duties of notary public.Code 1858, § 1795 (deriv.
