The county clerk shall not deliver the commission until the person elected has taken the oath and executed the bond, as required. The county clerk shall make a record of the date of the issuance and the expiration of the commission, noting the same on the bond executed by the notary public and also in the minute entry showing the notary's qualification as such notary public.Acts 1925, ch. 79, § 3; Shan.
