(a) The secretary of state shall promulgate by rule standards for online notarization in accordance with this part, including standards for credential analysis and identity proofing.(b) The secretary of state may confer with other appropriate agencies on matters relating to equipment, security, and technological aspects of the online notarization standards.Added by 2018 Tenn.
