Such oaths shall, when taken by the governor, a judge of the supreme court, a judge of the circuit court, a chancellor, the secretary of state, the comptroller of the treasury, the state treasurer, a district attorney general, or any other officer whose duties are not limited to one (1) county, unless it is otherwise provided, be filed, with the certificate required by § 8-18-107, in the office of the secretary of state.Code 1858, § 754; Shan., § 1075; Code 1932, § 1817; T.C.A.
