Section 8-19-116 - Endorsement of time of filing

Every officer in whose office the official bond of any public officer is filed shall endorse thereon the day and year on which it was filed, and sign such officer's name to the endorsement, and, on failure so to do, commits a Class C misdemeanor.Code 1858, § 770; Shan., § 1091; Code 1932, § 1832; T.C.A.
