Section 8-36-207 - Computation under formula of superseded system

Notwithstanding chapters 34-37 of this title to the contrary, any member, as defined in § 8-34-101, shall receive the greater of:(1) The service retirement allowance as provided in chapters 34-37 of this title; or(2) The service retirement allowance as would have been provided the member by the superseded system.Acts 1972, ch. 814, § 5; T.C.A., § 8-3906(1).
