Section 8-36-703 - Recomputation of benefits of beneficiaries of state and teachers' superseded systems who were retired under ten-year arithmetic average

Whenever a beneficiary of the Tennessee teachers' retirement system and the Tennessee state retirement system shall have been retired under a ten-year arithmetic average, the beneficiary shall have such beneficiary's benefits recomputed under a five-year arithmetic average. The recomputation shall be under the benefit provisions of the applicable superseded system.Acts 1972, ch. 814, § 13; T.C.A., § 8-3943.
