(a) The amounts payable under this part shall be provided annually by a separate appropriation for this purpose.(b) The general assembly shall make an annual appropriation to the state treasurer in an amount sufficient to provide the allowances granted herein.Acts 1972, ch. 814, § 12; 1976, ch. 813, § 4; T.C.A., § 8-3942(e).
