Section 8-4-101 - Election - Term of office

There shall be a comptroller of the treasury, who shall be elected by joint vote of both houses of the general assembly, and hold such office for two (2) years, and until a successor shall be elected and qualified.Code 1858, §§ 199, 812 (deriv.
