Sections 8-7-225 - 8-7-235 shall have no effect or application to the classification for future employment purposes or compensation or benefits of district attorneys general or assistant district attorneys general serving or employed in such capacity on June 1, 1994, whether compensated by the state of Tennessee or by local government.Acts 1994, ch. 704, § 5; 1999, ch. 460, § 1.
