Section 8-9-106 - Process directed to coroner

In any legal proceeding, when it appears from the papers that the sheriff is a party, or, from affidavit filed, that the sheriff is interested, the process may be directed to the coroner.Code 1858, § 381; Shan., § 472; Code 1932, § 719; T.C.A. (orig. ed.), § 8-907.
