Section 17-536 - Claims

Any payment to a member or beneficiary, or to their legal representatives, in accordance with the provisions of this chapter, shall to the extent of the method of computation as well as the amount thereof constitute full satisfaction of all claims hereunder against the trustees and the state of Tennessee, who may require such member, retired member, beneficiary, or legal representative, as a condition precedent to such payment, to execute a receipt and release therefor in such form and manner determined by the board.Acts 1963, ch. 206, § 36.
