The medical panel shall pass upon all medical examinations required by the board, shall investigate all health and medical statements and certificates by or on behalf of a member in connection with disability retirement, and shall report in writing to the board its conclusion and recommendations upon all matters referred to it.Acts 1947, ch. 231, § 5; C.
