Nothing contained in §§ 8-3421 and 8-3422 shall be construed to change or in any manner affect the present requirements for prior service credit in the Tennessee teachers' retirement system established by chapter 15 of title 49.Acts 1953, ch. 216, § 3 (Williams, § 1034.42b).
