Section 8-3424 - Cessation of membership

The membership of an employee in the retirement system shall cease if he has less than ten (10) years of creditable service and is continuously unemployed as a state employee for a period of seven (7) years at any time after establishment of the retirement system, or upon the withdrawal by the member of his accumulated contributions, or upon retirement, or upon death.Acts 1947, ch. 231, § 6; C.
