No other provision of law in any other statute which provides wholly or partly at the expense of the state of Tennessee for pensions, or retirement benefits for teachers of said state, their widows or other dependents, shall apply to members or beneficiaries of the retirement system established by this chapter, their widows, or other dependents, except such benefits as shall be provided by Title II of the Federal Social Security Act.Acts 1945, ch. 29, § 12; mod.
