Section 8-3953 - Transfers from and to University of Tennessee system authorized

Any person who is a member of either retirement system as defined in § 8-3952 may transfer membership to the other retirement system as defined in § 8-3952 upon accepting office or employment which makes it possible or mandatory for such person to participate in such other retirement system, anything contained in one (1) or both of the retirement systems to the contrary notwithstanding.Acts 1975, ch. 318, § 2.
