Section 9-8-107 - Defense counsel commission functions and responsibilities transferred to board of claims

The functions and responsibilities of the defense counsel commission arising out of incidents occurring after January 1, 1985, are hereby transferred to the board of claims. The board may establish procedures and rules under which these functions and responsibilities may be carried out by a subcommittee of the board. The defense counsel commission shall retain jurisdiction over all requests for counsel and compensation arising out of incidents occurring before January 1, 1985.Acts 1984, ch. 972, § 15.
