The boundaries of the district are coextensive with the boundaries of County Commissioners Precinct No. 3 of Hardeman County, Texas, as those boundaries existed on April 26, 1979. Added by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 729 (H.B. 2019), Sec. 1.01, eff. April 1, 2007.
