(a) Each district election shall be called by resolution or order of the board. The order or resolution must specify:(1) the date of the election;(2) the proposition to be submitted and voted on;(3) the polling place; and(4) any other matter considered necessary or advisable by the board.(b) Notice of each district election shall be given by publishing one time a substantial copy of the election resolution or order in a newspaper of general circulation in the district at least 20 days before the date set for the election.(c) The board shall declare the results of a district election.
