(a) To be eligible to hold office as a director, a person must be:(1) a district resident; and(2) a qualified voter.(b) An employee of the district may not serve as a director. Added by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.02, eff. April 1, 2009.
