§ 1013.108

(a) The board shall determine:(1) the type, number, and location of facilities required to maintain an adequate hospital system; and(2) the type of equipment necessary for hospital care.(b) The board may:(1) acquire, construct, repair, or renovate property, including facilities or equipment, for the district for use in the hospital system; and(2) mortgage or pledge the property as security for the payment of the purchase price.(c) The board may lease hospital facilities for the district.(d) The board may sell or otherwise dispose of property, including facilities or equipment, for the district.(e) The district may operate any facility covered by this section or contract with any person to operate the facility.
