(a) The board shall determine:(1) the type, number, and location of buildings required to maintain an adequate hospital system; and(2) the type of equipment necessary for hospital care.(b) The board may:(1) acquire property, including facilities and equipment, for the district for use in the hospital system; and(2) mortgage or pledge the property as security for the payment of the purchase price.(c) The board may lease hospital facilities for the district.(d) The board may sell or otherwise dispose of the property, including facilities, or equipment, for the district.
