A person may not be elected or appointed as a director unless the person is:(1) a district resident;(2) a qualified voter;(3) a freeholder; and(4) at least 18 years of age when elected or appointed. Added by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.02, eff. April 1, 2009.
