§ 1035.053

(a) To be qualified to serve as a director, a person must:(1) reside in the district; and(2) be at least 21 years of age.(b) A person may not serve as a director if the person:(1) is a district employee; or(2) was a district employee at any time during the two years preceding the date of the election.
