(a) The board may order an election on the question of:(1) expanding the district's boundaries to include all of the territory in DeWitt County that is not included in the Yoakum Hospital District;(2) the assumption by the additional territory of a proportionate share of district debts; and(3) the imposition of taxes in the territory to be added to the district.(b) Subsequent elections may be held on the same issue.
