(a) The board consists of:(1) the members of the Commissioners Court of Hood County, including the county judge; and(2) four persons appointed by the county judge.(b) One director appointed by the county judge must be:(1) a doctor of medicine; or(2) a doctor of osteopathy.(c) An appointed director serves a two-year term.
