The board may impose the tax at a rate not to exceed 25 cents on each $100 valuation of all taxable property in the district unless the tax rate is increased as provided by Section 1043.253. Added by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.02, eff. April 1, 2009.
