(a) The board shall elect a president, vice president, and secretary from among its members.(b) Each officer of the board serves for a term of one year.(c) The board may require an officer to execute a bond that is payable to the district and conditioned on the faithful performance of the officer's duties. The board may pay for the bond with district money.(d) The board shall fill a vacancy in a board office for the unexpired term.
