The district is created under the authority of Section 9, Article IX, Texas Constitution. The district has the rights, powers, and duties conferred by this chapter and general laws relating to hospital districts. Added by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.02, eff.
