(a) To be qualified to serve as a manager, a person must be:(1) a resident of the district; and(2) a registered voter.(b) A district employee may not serve as a manager. Added by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 91 (S.B. 1303), Sec. 22.002(a), eff. September 1, 2011.
