(a) The board may sue and be sued on behalf of the district. (b) The district may assert any defense or counterclaim the McCulloch County Hospital Authority could have asserted related to any debt that was:(1) incurred by the authority for hospital purposes; and(2) assumed by the district on the district's creation.
