§ 1061.054

(a) A person may not be elected or appointed as a director unless the person is:(1) a resident of the district; and(2) more than 18 years of age when elected or appointed.(b) A person who is elected from a single-member district or is appointed to fill a vacancy for a single-member district must reside in that single-member district.
