(a) The board may contract with any person located inside or outside the district's boundaries for the hospitalization and treatment of a sick or injured person.(b) The district may contract with any person located inside or outside the district's boundaries for services provided by the district, including:(1) the promotion of health;(2) hospital treatment of a sick or injured person; and(3) the training of doctors and nurses and the provision of training in health care disciplines.
