The board may contract with a political subdivision of this state or with a state or federal agency for the district to:(1) furnish a mobile emergency medical service;(2) provide for the investigatory or welfare needs of district inhabitants; or(3) provide a rural health clinic to care for the inhabitants of the contracting political subdivision.
