(a) The district is governed by a board of seven directors as follows:(1) six directors elected by place; and(2) the chief of staff elected by the medical staff under Section 1084.063.(b) Unless four-year terms are established under Section 285.081, Health and Safety Code, the directors elected to the board serve staggered three-year terms.
