§ 1091.063

(a) The board may:(1) appoint to the staff any doctors whose appointment the board considers necessary for the efficient operation of the district;(2) make temporary appointments as the board considers necessary; and(3) after due process remove from the medical staff any doctor whose removal the board considers necessary for the efficient operation of the district.(b) The district may employ technicians, nurses, fiscal agents, accountants, architects, additional attorneys, and other necessary employees.(c) The board may delegate to the district administrator the authority to employ persons for the district.(d) Except as prohibited by applicable law, the board may spend money to recruit physicians, nurses, and other personnel.
