(a) The board consists of seven directors elected as follows:(1) two directors elected from County Commissioners Precinct 3 by the voters of that precinct;(2) two directors elected from County Commissioners Precinct 4 by the voters of that precinct; and(3) three directors elected from the district at large by the voters of the entire district.(b) Directors serve staggered two-year terms unless four-year terms are established under Section 285.081, Health and Safety Code.
