(a) A person may not be elected or appointed as a director unless the person is:(1) a resident of the district; and(2) at least 18 years of age.(b) A district employee may not serve as a director. Added by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 70 (S.B. 1147), Sec. 1.01, eff. April 1, 2013.
