(a) The district shall provide for:(1) the establishment of a hospital system and the provision of emergency medical services by:(A) purchasing, constructing, acquiring, repairing, or renovating buildings and equipment; and(B) equipping the buildings; and(2) the administration of the hospital system for hospital purposes.(b) The hospital system may include any facilities and equipment the board considers necessary for hospital care.
