(a) The district shall provide for the establishment, administration, maintenance, operation, and financing of a hospital or hospital system in the district.(b) The district may provide any services or facilities necessary for hospital or medical care, including:(1) rural health clinics;(2) outpatient clinics;(3) nursing homes;(4) home health care agencies;(5) extended care facilities;(6) assisted living or personal care facilities; and(7) retirement, housing, and medical office buildings.
