(a) The board consists of seven directors elected as follows:(1) one director elected from each county commissioners precinct; and(2) three directors elected from the district at large.(b) A district voter may vote on the directors to be elected at large and on the director to be elected from the precinct in which the voter resides.(c) On the May uniform election date of each even-numbered year or another date authorized by law, the appropriate number of directors shall be elected.(d) Directors serve staggered four-year terms.
