On approval of the annexation by a majority of the voters in the territory proposed to be annexed, the territory:(1) becomes a part of the district;(2) is liable for the territory's pro rata share of the district's indebtedness; and(3) shall impose taxes on property in the district for the payment of the district's debt and obligations.
