(a) To qualify for election to the board, a person must be:(1) a district resident; and(2) a qualified voter.(b) A person may not serve on the board if the person is:(1) a party to a contract with the district to perform services for the district for compensation; or(2) a district employee.(c) A director is eligible for reelection to the board.
