(a) To be eligible to hold office on the board, a person must be:(1) a resident of the district; and(2) a qualified voter.(b) An administrator or an employee of the district may not serve as a director. Added by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 893 (H.B. 4212), Sec. 1, eff. June 18, 2015.
