The district may enter a contract for more than $50,000 for services, improvements, or the purchase of property, including materials, machinery, equipment, and supplies, only as provided by Subchapter K, Chapter 375, Local Government Code. Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1277, Sec. 1, eff. April 1, 2005.
